When using new microSD(HC) cads, you need to format with a SONY product before you can store data.
In order to copy or delete data directly, insert CR-5400 in your card reader. Don’t take out the microSD(HC) cards and perform write operations on the single card. Your data will be corrupt.
Note 1: Data Transfer can only be done with micro SDHC cards inserted in CR-5400. Direct PC to micro SDHC card data transfer and then inserting in CR-5400 won’t work.
Note 2: Re-using your micro SDHC cards for other devices than CR-5400: Should you experience formatting problems (i.e. only half of the original capacity available), please format concerned micro SDHC card(s) in slot#1 of CR-5400 (slot#2 must be empty). Do this for every affected card. Now you can re-use your micro SDHC card(s) in other devices

"Extremely unsatisfied at this point, with both the product, and the supplier..
shipping was nice and fast (about 5 business days), but when it arrived, wasnt in a package, just in lil plastic case it comes with dropped inside the bag..
hasnt worked since i got it with really anything (can get it to read after 6-8 tries both microSD and SDHC, multiple cards/classes). has a pretty big hairline crack down the back, and extremely useless when soon as you load the data on it, it drops out again and have to fiddle with it to get it to work..
pros:
usefull as a dual SD card holder not converter..
decent shipping
and thats about it..
Cons:
didnt arrive in package. obviously used
company refuses to respond
semi flimsy plastic (to be expected..)
not readable, if readable, corrupt
bottem line:
decent concept, if you order it, order it somewhere else..
hopefully you dont get a dud.."
